Staines Central

Invista Real Estate Download Experience Brochure

In 2009 we won a competition to undertake a review of the planning consented scheme for Staines Central owned by Invista Real Estate. The brief was to design a series of simple, flexible, cost-effective buildings that would create a brand new addition to the Staines business quarter. Planning approval for Phase 1 was gained in October 2010.

New gateway to Staines

Our masterplan organises the development into three linear blocks grouped around a new landscaped public square. The proposed café provides a vibrant hub and focal point for the centre of the scheme.

Phase 1 is approximately 100,000sqft of Grade A office accommodation. The façades have been carefully designed to ensure that the buildings are visually appealing whilst also offering a comfortable working environment.

Horizontal timber and translucent glass louvers are employed on the south façade. The north façade employs the rhythm of the south façade along the building’s structural grid. This unifying device ensures a harmonious connection between façades.
