Celebrating the architectural model
One of our highlights this summer, an abundance of exhibitions to visit which put the architectural model centre stage, culminated with a visit to Japan House London to see ‘Futures of the future' by Sou Fujimoto.
‘Futures of the future' is Fujimoto’s first solo exhibition in the UK and showcases not only the architect's current projects but also his architectural experiments for the future. The concept of ‘found architecture’ is also explored in the shop at Japan House in 'Architecture is Everywhere', which takes everyday objects and highlights architecture within their forms..
